Practical information
Landgoed de Wiersse is a historic country estate in Vorden (Achterhoek, the Netherlands) with romantic landscape gardens that have been cared for by the same family since 1678 and owned since 2008 by the Stichting Landgoed de Wiersse foundation. The gardens are open to visitors on set days from May to the end of September, with an extra open day on 18 October. Below you will find all the practical information for your visit.

Getting here
The entrance is at kilometre marker 16.7 on the N319 between Vorden and Ruurlo. Follow the brown “Landgoed de Wiersse” signs. Parking is free on the Wiersserallee, at the black iron gate.
Are you visiting with someone who has difficulty walking? Drive through the entrance gate, drop your passenger off at the coach house and park the car a little further back.
Accessibility and dogs
The landscape gardens are suitable for visitors with reduced mobility; wheelchairs you bring yourself can go everywhere. Wheelchairs with very thin tyres run a little heavier over the sand and gravel paths. There is no accessible toilet. There are benches along the walking route.
Dogs are welcome, if kept on a short lead. Please clean up after your dog.
Group tours
You can also book a group tour of the gardens outside opening hours: €142.50 per group of up to 15 people, lasting about 1.5 hours. For €42.50 extra (total €185) you also include the Great Hall of Victor de Stuers in the coach house.
